Eight Joes in GLSCL All-Star Game
4 Joes Starters represent in All-Star Game
The Hamilton Joes had four All-Star starters and multiple reserves. The starters were Ryder Kirtley, Brady Bowen, Owen McKoon, and starting pitcher for the South Division, Sam Eppley. Kirtley and McKoon would draw walks in their only at-bats. Eppley would have an unearned run in his inning, and Bowen would go hitless.
Other Hamilton Joes players that would make and play in the All-Star game were Parker Falkenstein, Hudson Boring, Alex Koelling, and Dale Ellis. AJ Beggs would also be Joe's representative, but he is going to his brother's graduation from the Naval Academy. Boring would throw a scoreless inning and Ellis had one earned run in his inning. Koelling and Falkenstein would have two hits combined, with a single for Koelling and a triple for Falkenstein.
Joes would have a solid performance but not enough for the South Division to win the game. They would fall 8-5 in extra innings to the North. Joes will be back for the final set in the regular season as they travel to play against the Grand Lake Mariners Thursday night.
